The Simpsons Futurama Crossover Crisis ReviewFor the price, you cannot beat the quality of this book. First off, the hard cover is a very nice size, not the usual comic or trade paperback size, but an inch or two bigger on both sides. The color artwork jumps from the pages and is very clean and crisp. The stories themselves are good and very lengthy, it seemed, compared to the usual single comic issues, with a lot of relevant plot material. The slip cover is very nicely done and the book binding seems to be sound.
When I read that the publishers were going to include a reprint of the very first Simpson's Comic, I assumed it would be bound with the rest of the hardback. To my delight, it is actually seperate, placed in a sleeve on the inside of the back cover. The cover to the reprint seems to be a bit thicker than the original #1, due perhaps for longer durability.
