The Starseed Transmissions ReviewEveryone on their spiritual journey should read this book. It addresses most of the questions that come up for those of us who recognize that we are not merely human beings but are actually spiritual beings in physical form having this human experience. It is a wonderful teaching tool for those of us assisting others who are searching also. There is just one sentence that puzzles some of the people I have talked to about this book. It is on page 61 where Jesus says, "If you cut off the love in your heart to another because of conceptual differences, I will cut you off from my life, like a pruner would cut a branch that has no merit." When Jesus was on earth he was reported to have said some harsh things to some but he was in human form at that time. I would like very much to hear from the author about this particular sentence as I want to feel great about this entire book and perhaps he could help me feel better about this sentence if he could explain it to me.The Starseed Transmissions Overview

Inner Paths to Outer Space: Journeys to Alien Worlds through Psychedelics and Other Spiritual Technologies ReviewThis book is a stellar overview of the latest in psychedelic theory. Rick Strassman gives an excellent summary of the current research and ideas behind DMT. One thing I was disappointed that he did not address: Strassman notes that both psilocin and DMT are nearly identical molecules. What significance does this have? I would have liked to see his musings on that topic.
Having this book is like getting your hands on the hottest underground philosophy book. It dares to link science and religion directly - not some wishy washy pseudo-theory, but hard evidence linking science and religion via psychedelics. It really is amazing how unknown this is to the average person - even those with a deep interest in these subjects. Yet here it is, brazenly laid out, for anyone with an inquisitive mind to pick up and learn.
I highly recommend this book if you want a cutting edge, no holds barred discussion on what psychedelics might mean to humanity. There is no waving dismissal of psychedelic users as "druggies" or scoffing at the notion there might be more to these substances than just "getting high". The authors are quite up front as to what is scientifically proven, and what is personal speculation. Nevertheless, imagination is set loose to roam free in this book, and the insights and hypotheses inside are scrumptious food for thought. The art is also quite nice and colorful.

John. He tells him a parable; then the rest of the book explains the parable and how it relates to different aspects of our lives. The parable is rather simple and a little strange but as it is explained you will never forget it. Read it to find out how a garden, lighthouse, sumo wrestler, pink wire cable, stopwatch, roses and a winding path of diamonds are symbols of timeless principles and virtues by which to live your life. The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide: Safe, Therapeutic, and Sacred Journeys ReviewI first learned about this book when I was asked to read a pre-release version and help with some minor editing and formatting that the publisher asked for. It was not, frankly, a book I would have normally read otherwise.
After the first reading, I remember putting the manuscript down and thinking, "This is an important book, and it has to be out there."
The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide shows the surprising ways people are using psychedelics in healing, psychotherapy, and spiritual quests. One chapter describes the emerging trend of micro-dose usage: where people use tiny doses of psychedelics to improve their functioning at home, work and play.
I also remember how impressed I was to read about the early research using LSD to treat alcoholics who had failed all other treatments. The results were highly effective, even in these formerly hopeless cases.
